Mangalore, May 4: New office-bearers for Family Doctors’ Association were elected recently at the annual meeting of the association held at Hotel Kudla.
Incumbent president Dr M A R Kudva and election officer and honourary president Dr K Mohan Bhandary were present during the election.
Dr M Annayya Kulal of Kulal Health Centre, Padil has been elected as a president for the year 2007-08. Dr Shrinivas Rai from Suraksha Nursing Home was elected as a president elect and Dr Kumaraswami as a vice-president. Dr G K Bhat Sankabithilu was elected as secretary, while Dr Jayapal Shetty will be the joint-secretary and Dr Sudhakar Nayak as treasurer.
Dr Jayaprakash Khandige, Dr Subbaiah Rai, Dr Ashok Kumar Bhat, Dr Vivekananda Bhat and Dr K Bhujanga Shetty were elected as executive committee members.
