Mangalore, May 3: Fr Swebert D’Silva has been appointed principal of city’s St Aloysius College, according to a press release.
Fr D’Silva was the principal of St Aloysius Pre-University College for past six years. He took a year-long sabatical in the last year and came back recently. He took charge of the new post on Tuesday May 1.
Born in Udyavara of Udupi district, Fr D’Silva completed his schooling in Katapadi. After completing bachelor’s degree from St Aloysius College, he did MSc from Loyola College, Chennai and MPhil from Madras Christian College, Chennai.
D’Silva also has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and theology, the press release stated.
