Mangalore, May 7: Government Women’s Polytechnic at Bondel has come forward to provide an opportunity to do diploma courses under a programme of department of Human Resource Development.

Courses like electronic and communication engineering, commercial practice, computer sciences and engineering, library and information management are some of the courses offered to women. The candidate needs to have the doctor’s certification as a physically-challenged.

The candidate requires the minimum SSLC education or an equivalent percentage of 35 marks in mathematics and science for electronic and communication engineering, whereas for commercial practice the candidate needs to pass the SSLC and for library and information science PUC II or equivalent examination.

A minimum of 5-year education in Karnataka is essential for women to join these courses.
