Mangalore, May 7: A biker who had been seriously injured after being hit by a private bus here died later on the way to the hospital here on Sunday May 6 evening.
The deceased has been identified as Dinakar (28), a resident of Badaga-Bellur near here. He was on his way to his house riding his bike when a bus plying towards B C Road knocked him down in front of the SVS College.
The eye-witnesses said that the impact of the accident was such horrendous that the bus had dragged him along the road for quite a long distance.
As a result he sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. But he died on the way.
Dinakar was a contract labour with BSNL.
