Kundapur, May 9: A young biker from Basrur who was on his way to Udupi was knocked down to death by an unidentified vehicle at Koteshwar near here in the wee hours of Tuesday May 8.
The deceased rider has been identified as Mujhahiddin Ajaam (20), son of Sabuddin from Basrur near here. He is said to have been on his way to Udupi on personal work on early Tuesday morning riding his motor bike when the accident took place. No details are available about the vehicle that knocked him down.
Mujhahiddin sustained serious injuries in the accident and owing to excess bleeding died on the spot. The gravity of the accident however indicated that it could by any heavy vehicle that rammed Mujhahiddin's mobike.
Kundapur police have registered a case in this regard.
