MUMBAI, Jul 2: Major fire broke out in Godrej factory premises at Vikhroli in North east Mumbai on Monday morning, fire brigade sources said.

Fire broke out in the Hicare-pesticide unit around 7.30 this morning. Eight fire engines and four jumbo water tankers have been pressed to douse the fire, they added.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained and details are awaited, fire brigade sources said.
