Mumbai, Jul 5: There was high drama at Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan's residence here on Wednesday as bomb squad officials searched the place after a tip-off but did not find any explosives.

A crack team of Mumbai police's officials along with sniffer dogs from the Bomb Disposal Squad searched the Juhu residence in the evening after the police got a tip-of that explosives were planted there.
However, the team could not find any explosives after an hour's efforts and called off the search, a senior police official said.

"We had received a tip-off about the possibility of some subversive act at Jalsa, the Juhu residence of Amitabh Bachchan. So we carried a thorough search of the premises, but no explosives were found and the search was called off," the official told IANS.

Police said the search was on for the person who had sent an email massage to a TV channel warning that explosives had been planted at the Bollywood icon's residence.
