Mangalore: Bajpe Immigration Detects Yet Another Impersonation Case

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (RD)

Mangalore, Jul 8: Vigilant immigration officials at Mangalore Bajpe Airport arrested a passenger who tried to depart for Dubai using a fake passport by AIX 801.

Abdul alias Abbu, a native of Bannur village in Puttur was arrested when he tried to board the flight Dubai, using the passport of Abdul Rahman, a resident of Rajapuram village in Kasargod.

He had arrived at Kozhikode airport from Dubai, where he was employed, by using the same passport, a month ago, but it was not detected either at Dubai or at Kozhikode.

In previous cases detected at Bajpe, the persons had escaped the attention of officials in Dubai, whereas the officials of the airport here caught them.

This has attracted wide appreciation from the public here.

When Daijiworld congratulated immigration inspector Manjunath Shetty, he expressed happiness over his staff being very alert.
