Bangalore, Sep 28:
Indian and Australian cricket teams were busy practicing in Chinnaswamy stadium here in the city on Friday September 28.

Both the teams were practicing for first match of the seven match one-day series which will be kick started on Saturday September 29 at Chinnaswamy Stadium.

While the Australians were out in full might, within less than 24 hours after landing in the Garden city, only five of India's 15-member squad were present.

The rest were the members of the Twenty-20 World Cup winning squad. They are expected to arrive here either late in the night or early on Friday September 28, after recovering from their exhaustion of on-field heroics and off-field felicitations.

Ricky Ponting, the Australian captain who missed a majority of his team's unsuccessful Twenty20 campaign led Australia out in the real sense of the world, having a reasonably long hit at the nets.

Captains of both the teams will pose along with the cup at Hotel Ashoka on Friday September 28 afternoon. Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will address the media at Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Friday September 28 at 7.30 pm.

If India could play as they have played against the pakistan in the final, it is possible that they can win this tournament also.
