Mangalore, Sep 29:  At the prestigious T M A Pai Convention Centre here, three generations of the Godkhindis, all virtuoso flautists are set to perform on Saturday September 29.

Pt Venkatesh Godkhindi (60), his son Pravin Godkhindi (30) and grandson Shadj Godkhindi (6) will be enthralling the audience. The first session will begin with a classical performance by the trio, after which will start a show by Pravin Godkhindi’s famed fusion band known as Krishna. 

According to the organizer Sharat Vatsa, director of Aalap Events and Media Pvt Ltd, the trio will perform in different parts of the state and they are also planning on taking the said Godkhindis to 14 different cities across the country. The VCDs and DVDs of the programme which is going to be held here will be released on October 13.

The tickets are available at the venue, and the designated places in the city are Manipal and Udupi.
