Kundapur, Oct 5:
The Kollur police have registered a case against Krishna Prasad Adyanthyaya, trustee of Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple and the accomplices in Kollur police station near here on Wednesday October 3.

A case was registered in connection with causing damages to a footwear shop located in front of the said temple, as per the order issued by Kundapur Court.

In a complaint stated to the court, Prakash Shetty, owner of the damaged footwear shop, stated  that Adyanthyaya and his men broke in and caused damages to goods on September 30 in the afternoon.
 
It is highlighted in the complaint that Shetty was abused and assaulted by the accused.

Shetty requested the court to take actions against the 'miscreants.' The court directed the Kollur police to register a case against the trustee and the accomplices.
 
It is also learnt that, similar attacks were made against other footwear shops by the accused about a month ago.

    Can someone explain to me why a trustee of the temple had to assault a footwear shop owner unless he is guilty of any kind. Or is the footwear selling is banned in the vicinity of the temple? If both above are not proved then the trustee men should be debarred after giving him few shoulder shakes.
