Bantwal, Oct 7: Two persons were severely injured, when a government bus hit a bike at K C road near Kalladka here on Sunday, October 7.
The injured persons have been identified as Rohit and Nishchit of Amtur. As a result of the impact of the accident, one of the unfortunate victims lost his leg, sources here informed.
The bus was plying from Madikeri to Mangalore, when the accident occurred, caused mainly by the reckless driving by the bus driver, sources added.
A case has been registered at Bantwal town police station.
