Mangalore, Oct 9: MSW students fit into every field and hence they have ample of job opportunities, declared KMC managing executive H S Bhat at the seminar on ‘Career without Borders: Opportunities and Challenges for Social Works’ here on Monday Oct ober8. He was alluding to the wide-spread job opportunities currently available for social work students.

Addressing the media persons, he stated that there is no field where MSW students are not fitting in and therefore these courses are in great demand and every organization requires MSW students.

According to Bhat with the opening up of a special Economic Zone in the city, MSW students will have good job opportunities and they can also offer counselling services. 

Speaking on the significance of time management, he defined it as an essential art for survival. He therefore urged the students to make good use of time available, which he opined will never wait for any one, so one should know how to make good use of it. He also expressed the need for quality and moral education in schools and colleges. 

On this occasion Samanvaya director Ronald Cutinho, KMC consultant psychiatric and social worker Mariella D’Souza were present.
