Mangalore: Workshop on Drug Abuse for Home Guards held

Mangalore, Oct 26: Prabhakar Sharma, headquarter's assistant in deputy commissioner's office, inaugurated the workshop on drug abuse which was held at Home Guards' office, located at Mary Hill, in the city, organized for home guards personnel, recently.

“These kinds of workshops are essential for home guard personnel, owing to the increase in drug abuse cases in the society” said Prabhakar Sharma.  Moreover, home guard personnel are advised to attend these workshops, since it provides basic knowledge of drugs to combat critical situation arising out of drug abuse. 

Ruksana and Sayyed from Rehabilitation Trust, Bangalore who were the resource persons conducted the workshop. 

Home Guards Commandant Shivaprasad Rai welcomed the gathering.
