Udupi, Nov 15: In yet another theft in the Padubidri region, thieves have decamped with a large booty from a house located at Bhaskar Nagar near Uchila, on Tuesday November 13 night.  The thieves have stolen 30 sovereigns of gold from one Hassainar's house on Tuesday night.

The thieves who broke open into the house reportedly stole 2 mangalsutras, 4 bangles, one necklace, and earrings.  As of now, the value of the stolen ornaments is not yet established.

The thieves entered the house by climbing into the overhead tank and opened the roof, to get access into the rooms.  However, it was quite surprising that, despite all the happenings, none of the members of the family woke up.

The thieves stole ornaments from a cupboard which was in Hasainar's room. But Hassainar was not aware about the theft  till he woke up in the morning.

These kind of thefts became common now in those areas as it is happening very often now a days. It is very sad to say that so far the local polices are not succeeded in detecting previous cases.
