Mangalore, Nov 15: Hosting an art exhibition is a rare phenomenon in this jet set age.  Today art in all forms must be encouraged. Art being an integral part of life deserves to be encouraged. Music has the singular characteristics of elevation through its quality of ecstasy, Swaroop Devayya, director, Montessori house of children, opined here at Veenu Building, Ballalbagh.
 
She was delivering the inaugural address of ‘Beladingalu’, a five day art exhibition of artists, Naveenchandra Bangera and Nisha N Bangera held here on Wednesday, November 14.
 
Art shares its one to one relationship with mankind, since the origin and evolution. Art is god's gift to the mankind. Today we do live in the era where every thing is considered art, including cooking, unlike in the past, said Ramesh Pai, president, Manava Vikasa Kendra, laying emphasis on the prevalence of art in all walks of life.
 
B. Ganesh Somayaji of Prasad Art Gallery was the chief guest present on the occasion.  Srinivas Prabhu was also present.
 
Purushottam Karanth, senior artist was present.
