Mangalore, Nov 15: The golden jubilee show of Konkani play Nandadeep by Mumbai-based Konkani Triveni Kala Sangam (KTKS) would be staged at the Town Hall in the city on November 17, programme coordinator Vedamurthi Narasimhachar informed here recently.

Speaking to media persons he said that the Goa chief minister Digamber Kamath would be the chief guest on the occasion. Kamath’s yeomen’s service in promoting Konkani language is being recognized and hence he would be felicitated by KTKS, he added.

According to Narasimhachar the KTKS is a non-commercial drama organization. Its main objective is to promote and propagate Konkani language. He declared that the drama show-Nandadeep was a milestone in the history of amateur dramas.
