Mangalore, Nov 15: A fest known as ‘The Times of India Inter-School Newspaper in Education (NIE) Fun Fest’ would be organized at the Town Hall here on Saturday, Nov. 24.
The open events will be for students from Class V to XII. In the junior category, students from class V to VII can take part and in the senior section, students from class VIII to XII can take part in various events.
As part of dress code school uniform, appropriate costume, Times NIE membership badges would be worn by the participants. Only on prior intimation registration will be made. The schools have to make all necessary transport arrangements for the participants.
The organizers have made arrangements for various competitions in different categories. For instance there would be Indian dance (ethnic/non filmy and film hits /Indipop) fancy dress, creative writing (short story writing, poetry writing), colour splash-painting, competition (juniors, seniors), vegetable carving and flower arrangements.
