Udupi: National Budokon Karate Championship to be held on Nov 17

Udupi, Nov 15:  The 10th National Budokon Karate championship will be organized by Kobodu Budokon karate at Rajanagana of Sri Krishna Mutt here on Saturday November 17.

Addressing the press persons here on Wednesday November 14 chief instructor of Kobodu Budokon karate Shishan Ravikumar Udyavar informed that the championship will be inaugurated by chief minister B S Yedyurappa. The winners of the grand championship will be conferred Krishnanugraha- 2007 award.

On this occasion international chief instructor of KBI for Australia Wayne McDonald and Asian chief Instructor Paramesh will be felicitated. Udupi MLA K Raghupathi Bhat will preside over the function. Paryaya Seer of Sri Krishnapur Math Vidyasagarateertha Swami will administer the spiritual blessing.

President of Udupi Zilla Panchayat Raju Poojary, former Member of Parliament Jayaram Shetty, and zilla panchayat member Nayana Ganesh will be the distinguished guest on the occasion.
