Mangalore, Nov 16: People have a feeling of trust and faith about Corporation Bank which has tied up with several financial houses, in order to enhance functionality and to meet ever growing customer expectations, said B Sambamurthy, chairman and CEO, Corporation Bank at the launching of two maiden services, ‘financial health check-up and invest shoppe’ in a function held at Ram Bhavan Complex here on Friday November 16.

The products launched are unique as the bank committed towards the benefits of its customers. The bank provides a platform and mere link of all the tied up financial firms.  It neither promotes nor suggests any particular choice to its customers.  The bank aims to provide wide choices to its customers, owing to the competitions in the banking sphere.  The number of tie-ups are limited mainly to provide the best solutions, he informed media persons.

Corporation Bank offers a number of reliable choices. Financial health check-up is very important as it considers the root of the problem and suggests permanent solutions to customers similar to any total health check-up done by physician, Dr C R Kamath, director of the bank and ophthalmologist, opined.

He was addressing the gathering, after launching the financial health check-up on the occasion.

The financial health check up would be more useful for those who have no knowledge of investment portfolio.  Hence, it would not only guide investors in a professional manner but aslo helps in channeling their money towards right directions to reap good fortune, he added.

Competition is the serious challenge to the banking industry.  Moreover the talented and dedicated staff of the bank would not only face challenges but also turn them into opportunities. Hence, they would strive to bring healthy profits to the bank and fulfill customer expectations, said N Vinay Hegde, managing director, Lamina Group of Companies, while inaugurating the Invest Shoppe.

The changing market scenario, existing status of the bank, changing pattern of household financial savings and various activities were briefed on the occasion.

Murlidar Kamath proposed vote of thanks.
