Mangalore: Canara Educational Institutions Observe Founder’s Day

Mangalore, Nov 19: Founder’s Day celebration of Canara Educational Institutions was held at Canara School on Monday November 19 evening. 

M M Kudwa, general manager, Canara Bank, Circle office, in the city, in his presidential address, acknowledged the  contribution of the late founder Amembal Subbaraya Pai, who was known to be disciplinarian and philanthropist, with his genuine concern for the welfare of students.

Dr Mohandas Nayak, president, Canara High School, Annappa Pai, secretary, Balakrishna, treasurer, M Padmanabha, school manager, S Umesh Mallya, headmaster were present at the occasion.

Amembal Subbaraya Pai memorial gold medals were awarded to the students who have achieved highest marks in SSLC.  Sudheep Pai, Sudhindra Baliga, Pooja Bhakta and Divya Hegde were awarded with the gold medals.
