Bantwal, Nov 21: The Vittal police have arrested a certain Nagu alias Nagaraj Shetty a resident of Sahu in Mani village, in connection with the murder of Shivu alias Shivaram Rai here on Tuesday, November 20.
As one may recollect Shivaram Rai was hacked to death at Mani junction on Wednesday October 31 evening.
The police have already taken into custody Jagadish Jain, Harish and Tammu alias Surendra. The police have arrested Nagu, 20 days after this murder. The court has remanded him to judicial custody till November 27.
Custody:
Santhosh (25), who was arrested in connection with the murder of his wife Ashwitha (20), has been remanded to judicial custody for 15 days.
Santhosh was arrested by Bantwal rural police on Monday November 19. He had allegedly murdered his wife Ashwitha at his residence located at Mangage in Kariyangala village.
