Mangalore: ‘Nursing Spreads Message of Love, Service’

Mangalore, Nov 21: Nursing is a noble profession through which one can spread the message of love and service, said mother PierCarla Mauri, superior general, Sister of Charity Congregation of Italy.

She was speaking at the ceremonial welcome accorded in her honour at the Athena Institute of Health Sciences here on Tuesday November 20.

Speaking on the occasion she said that the sick and the needy people should be comforted with the healing touch of the nursing community.

Mauri was felicitated on this occasion. The felicitation address was made by R S Shettian, chairman, Athena Institution.

Sr Irene Jane D’Souza, provincial superior, Ann Rose D’Almeida, principal of the Institute, Asha Shettian, director and Winnie Crasta nursing superintendent were present.
