Udupi, Nov 22:  Well-known Indian cricketer Anil Kumble has been chosen as the brand ambassador for  Manipal Education, the global power-house in education in Mumbai on Wednesday, November 21 with the latter signing him on to endorse their services in the educational field, informed official sources.

According to Anil Kumble, referring to his new status as brand ambassador he said that he has followed Manipal Education’s endeavor in developing all-rounded students, who have succeeded in their respective areas. In view of this, he expressed his deep pleasure in representing Manipal Education globally and leading young minds to new vistas of learning.

According to the CEO MEMG Dr Ranjan Pai ''We have always ensured that our students are balanced in terms of academic and extra-curricular performance.”

With regard to their new brand ambassador, Pai opined that Anil Kumble personified their brand values. Aside from being a world class cricketer, Anil had also excelled academically. Summing up their choice of Kumble for the said honour he said “We have been providing world-class education to our students and hence a world-class player like Anil Kumble is the appropriate choice for Manipal Education.''

He concluded by expressing the hope that their association would assist Manipal Education in achieving its mission of providing students with a well-rounded development.
