Mangalore: Programme on ‘Rights’ at Town Hall on Nov 24

Mangalore, Nov 23: The Movement for Social Life and Human Rights will be organizing an awareness programme on ‘rights’ at Town Hall on Saturday, November 24.

At the same time, 4 eminent personalities will be honoured by the organization. Abraham Varghese (principal of St George Composite Pre-University College, Nellyady), M Madhava Salettur (social service), Hemant Chowta (chairman of Agastya College of Management Studies) and B Ravindra Rai (president of Karnataka Computer Academy) are the persons who will be felicitated this year.

Justice S R Nayak, president of State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) will inaugurate and preside over this function. District sessions chief judge V C Hatti, St Aloysius Group of Institutions rector Fr Francis Serrao, entrepreneurs Raghunath Shet, Razak, Ratnakar Jain and politician Mohiyuddin Bava will be the chief guests of the function, stated their press release.
