Bantwal: Our Lady of Loreto at Threshold of 'Vodlem Fest' on Dec 5

Bantwal, Dec 3: The Eucharistic Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Loreto Church, near here on Sunday, December 2, in spiritual preparation to the grand feast which will be held on Wednesday, December 5.   Fr Dennis Moras Prabhu, vicar general of Mangalore diocese offered the Eucharistic Mass along with Fr Joseph Lobo, procurator of Mangalore diocese and Fr Cyprian Pinto, parish priest of Our Lady of Loreto, besides thousands of faithful, who gathered round the table of the Lord.  The Eucharistic procession was held around the church, in order to give praises to the Lord. 



Mean while, the foundation-laying ceremony for the new school building, was held at the same occasion.  Francis Fontem laid the foundation stone for the proposed construction of school building.  Fr Dennis Moras Prabhu blessed the construction site.   Francis Fontem was felicitated by Fr Dennis, by draping the shawl and presented with memento.



Fr Cyprian Pinto welcomed and introduced the guests.  Dolphy Prashanth D'Souza, general secretary, Dakshina Kannada Congress, Fr Joseph Lobo, Fr Dennis Moras Prabhu, were present on the dais.

Hubert Lobo, secretary, parish council, proposed vote of thanks.  Joe Coelho, vice present, parish council, compered the programme.
