Kasperczak denies resigning from Tunisia bench

Tunis, Feb 2 (IANS): Henryk Kasperczak has denied resigning from his post as the head coach of the Tunisia football team, insisting he will stay.

Kasperczak on Wednesday also denied reports that he had received an offer from neighbours Algeria, reports Efe.

The Polish coach explained that this information was posted on a Ghanaian website and was spread in Tunisia without verification.

Tunisian press and fans criticised the coach for decisions he took during the Tunisia-Burkina Faso 0-2 defeat in the quarter-finals of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
