Mangaluru, Jul 31: Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Episcopal City Deanery here celebrated Vanamahotsava 2K17 by distributing various saplings to all the units of Episcopal City Deanery.
Under the guidance of Fr J B Crasta, vicar forane, Episcopal City Deanery along with Episcopal City Deanery director Fr Roshan D’Cunha, president Frenton Irol D’Souza, Cascia, secretary Joywin Madtha, Milagres and all the members of the executive committee were present to distribute the saplings.
As many as 260 saplings were distributed among the units of the deanery. Saplings were distributed to Bejai unit on July 8, Thannirbhavi unit on July 21, Valencia, Bendur, Urwa, Ashoknagar and Kulur units on July 26, and Milagres, Jeppu and Cascia units on July 27.
All the unit directors, presidents, secretaries and members were present to receive the saplings at their respective church premises.
