Mangaluru: Hindu Ekatmata Kendra holds annual Raksha Bandhan programme

Mangaluru, Aug 7: Hindu Ekatmata Kendra, Guruvayanakere, under the aegis of Sri Panduranga Seva Pratishtana, held the annual Varalaxmi Puje and Raksha Bandhan programme at Sri Panduranga temple on Friday, August 4.

This was the 20th year of the celebrations.

After the community recital of Lalita Sahasranama and the bhajans. A D Suresh and the troupe  sang classical songs.

Vedamurthi Kuntini Raghavendra Bhat conducted the religious rituals. After which, sanctified articles were distributed.

President of the  Panduranga Seva Pratishtana, K Ramananda Salian, vice president Vidya Nayak, secretary Somashekar Devasya, treasurer Dayananda Poojary, trustees Babu A, Chandrahasa Das, Subash, were persent among other trustees.

Members and hundreds of women participated in the celebrations.
