Mangaluru: Theme song of ICYM’s mega event ‘Diaference’ released

Mangaluru, Jan 29: Indian Catholic Youth Movement, Central Council, Mangaluru diocese will host mega event ‘Diaference - 2K18’ with the theme ‘Youth Leaders as Christ's witness at different helms of the Society’ at Pakshikere church open ground on February 11. The theme song of the day-long convention for youth of the diocese was released on January 26.

Fr Ronald Prakash D’Souza, Ajekar, director, ICYM Central Council, Mangaluru Diocese and Fr Clifford Simon Pinto, director, ICYM Kinnigoli deanery along with Jackson Saldanha, vice-president, Parish Pastoral Council, St Jude Thaddeus Church, Pakshikere, ICYM Diocesan Council members and members of ICYM Kinnigoli deanery were present during the release of the song at Pakshikere church mini hall. A preparatory meeting of the convention was also held.



Joel Immanuel Concessao, general secretary, ICYM Central Council Mangaluru diocese thanked each and everyone for being part of the programme and Rohan Lewis Madanthyar, Pro ICYM Central Council, Mangaluru diocese compered the programme.

The lead vocalists of the song are Rynel Sequeira and Valenteena Castelino. Other singers are Ivy D'souza, Francin Mascarenhas, Jaison Periera,and Joel Concessao. The lyrics and tunes are Jo Im Milar (Joel Milagres). Music is arranged by Roshan D'souza, Angelore and recorded at Sandesha Mangaluru. Fr Rony D'souza, director, ICYM has lent his support for the final outcome.
