Udupi: JCI Udyavara-Kuthpady to celebrate Jaycee Week-2018 from Oct 7 to 13

Udupi, Oct 6: JCI Udyavara-Kuthpady, Zone-XV Region-F is organising ‘Jaycee Week-2018’ from October 7 to 13. The inauguration will be held on Sunday October 7 at St Francis Xavier Church premises Udyavar at 5.30 pm.

Fr Stany B Lobo, chancellor of Udupi diocese and parish priest of Udyavar church will inaugurate and JC Stevan Colaco, president, JCI Udyavar-Kuthpadya unit will preside over the function.



The chief guests of the event, JC PPP Alan Rohan Vaz, past zonal president, zone XV, JC Pashupati Sharma, zone vice president, zone XV, Dinakar Babu, president, zilla panchayat, Udupi, Lalaji R Mendon, MLA Kaup, Suresh Shetty Gurme, businessman Kaup, JC Harishchandra Amin, past zonal president, zone XV, SNR Chitrakumar, national vice president, Indian senior chamber, Jayakar Shetty Indrali, general manager, Badagubettu Credit Cooperative Society, Jerry Vincent Dias, proprietor, Mandavi Builders, Prakhyath Shetty, vice president, District Congress Committee, Udupi and Riyaz Palli, vice president, village panchayat, Udyavar will be present.

There will be a cultural programme ‘Bale Thelipule’ by award winning team Prashamsha Kaup. Members Prasanna Shetty Bailoor, Kusalda Birse famed Sandeep Shetty Manibettu and Mervin Shirva will entertain the audience with their performance.

On Monday October 8, there is a Healthy Kids competition at Saundarya auditorium in the afternoon. JC Sunil D Bangera from zone XV, Sugandhi Shekhar, president, village panchayat Udyavar, Jithendra Shetty and Kirana Kumar, members, village panchayat Udyavar will be the guests.

JCI Udyavara-Kuthpady, zone-XV will visit Vijaya Balanikethan, located at Matpady in Brahmavar. They will distribute accessories to the children of the hostel. The chief guests will be Ramanand, proprietor, Gayathri Digitals Kinnimulky, Udupi, Vijay Kumar, village panchayat, Udyavar, Prathap Kumar Udyavar, president, Udyavar Billava Mahajana Sangha, Santhosh Kumar, former president, Yuvavahini Mangaluru, Harish Anchan, founder president, JCI Udyavar-Kutpady and JC Stevan Colaco, president, JCI Udyavar-Kuthpadya.

‘Cooking without fire food’ will be organised on Wednesday October 10 at Saundarya Sabhabhavan, Udyavar.

The first, second and third winning teams will get Rs 8000, Rs 5000 and Rs 3000 respectively along with attractive trophies. The other 20 participating teams will get honourary amount.

Fr Paul Rego, parish priest, Holy Cross Church Pamboor, will inaugurate the event.

The other chief guests will be Geethanjali Suvarna, member, zilla panachayat, Ln Nirupama Prasad, trustee, Sri Jayadurga Parameshwari temple, Kannarpady, JC Saumya Rakesh, first lady of the zone, zone XV, Rt Thejoshwar Rao, general editor, Thrikarneshwari Vani, monthly magazine, Jc Akshatha Girish Aithal, zone vice president, zone XV, Birthi Gangadhar Bhandary, president, Birthi Credit Co-operative Society, Udupi, SNR Naveen Amin, Shankarpur, president, Udupi temple city Lezon and Diwakar Sanil, owner, Smaranika Gift Center, Udupi.

On Thursday October 11, JCI Udyavar-Kutpady will organise skills for excellence, a training programme which will be held at Trinity ITI Udyavar.

JC Santhosh Kumar, zone coordinator, Youth and Sports division, zone XV will inaugurate the event.

Wilson Raj Kumar, member of village panchayat and president of BJP standing committee Udyavar, Jone M D’Souza, principal, Trinity ITI Udyavar will be present as chief guests of the programme.

JC Rajendra Bhat, national trainer, JCI India will be the resource person for the training session.

On Friday October 12, district level singing reality competition for Dakshina Kannada and Udupi will be organised. A selecting round Swaranjali for (15-40 age groups) will be organized at Saundarya Sabhabhavan Udyavar in the morning at 9.30. Around 200-250 contestants from the district are expected.

The first, second and third prize winners will get Rs 8000, Rs 5000 and Rs 3000 respectively along with attractive trophies.

Amrith Shenoy, businessman Udupi will be inaugurator for the function.

Ln Henry D’Souza, president, Sunshine Lions Club Udyavar, Rt Vasanth Kotian, owner, Priya Caterers, Korangrapady will be the chief guests.

A grand valedictory ceremony and prize distribution function will be held at St Francis Xavier Church Udyavar premises at 5.30 pm.

The final round of Swaranjali-2018 will be held on the same evening. This competition is organised for the first time in Udyavar. The first, second and third prize winners will get Rs 8000, Rs 5000 and Rs 3000 respectively along with attractive trophies.

The competition will be judged by state level personalities and Avinash Kamath will enthrall the show by his anchoring style.

The celebrities from upcoming Tulu film ‘Er Ullur ge’ Arjun Kapikad , Anup Sagar and Aradhya Shetty will be added attraction for closing ceremony of Jaycee week-2018.
