Mangalore: Book Release Function of 'Beary Adhyayana 2008' held

Mangalore, Jan 8: A function to release the work, ‘Beary Adhyayana 2008' was held at the NGO Hall recently.

The event was jointly organized by the All India Beary Parishat and Beary Study Centre.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Amrut Someshwar, veteran litterateur said that the Beary language is not confined  just to juggling of words, but has become an ocean of enriched words. The Beary authors must come forward to win recognition and laurels for the language, he advised.

Power of righteousness and literary skill are very important for the growth of any language. Earnest readers will like quality literature irrespective of its language. All languages are inter-related to each other, he analyzed.

Participating as the chief guest, B A Moidin asked the Beary Muslims to become a guiding force for others in this country of diverse cultures.

Rafiuddin Kudroly, director, Divyajyoti Vidyalaya, demanded for imparting of the Madarassa education in Beary language. Muslims need not follow the Malayalam language mandatorily, he felt.

K S Muhammad Masood, president, Muslim Central Committee, dwelt on  the history of the Beary movement. B M Mumtaz Ali, working president of the Parishat presided over the function.

G A Bava, honorary president of the Parishat, Muhammad Amin, Bunder Madina Mosque, Alikuhnhi Pare, president, Parishat zonal committee Ullal and Bashir Ahmad S M, secretary,  Kasargod district committee participated in the function.

B A Muhammad Hanif delivered the key note address on the occasion.

U A Khasim Ullal introduced the book. Abdul Aziz Haq welcomed the gathering. Hamid Kinya proposed vote of thanks.
