Mangalore, Jan 12: Nemotsava forms a part of Tulunadu culture, while it has to be held to keep the age old tradition alive in the coastal district of undivided Dakshina Kannada, said Sri Gurudevanand Swami of Odiyoor Math.
 
Sri Gurudevand Swami was speaking at the religious discourse held at Ira Bavabeedu Sri Arasu Kuriyadttaya temple, in Bantwal taluk, on the occasion of Brahmakashabisheka and Dharma Nemotsav on Saturday January 10. 
 
Nitte University chancellor S Vinay Hegde presided over the programme.








































Bharat Sanskruti Pratistan trustee Yerya Laxminarayan Alva, Coastal Development Authority chairman B Nagaraj Shetty, Bantwal MLA B Ramanat Rai and MLA U T Khader were the chief guests of the occasion.
 
Community elders Bolantoorguttu Gangadar Rai, Kinnimajalubeedu Muddappa Shetty and Ira Talittabettu Ramanna Kottari were felicitated by Nitte University chancellor Vinay Hegde at the same occasion.
 
Dr Satish Bhandary welcomed the gathering.  Jayaprakash Bhandary proposed vote of thanks. Bhaskar Rai Kukkuwalli compered the programme.
