Kundapur: Man from taluk falls down from roof to death

Kundapur, Feb 6: Sadashivayya (55), residing near Hulikal Kere in Molahalli village in the taluk, died after he accidentally fell from the roof of his house.

Sadashivayya had scaled a ladder to pluck drumsticks from a tree located by the side of his house on Sunday. From the ladder, he had stepped on the concrete slab. When plucking the drumsticks, he suddenly slipped and fell to the ground. He had suffered serious injuries and therefore was admitted into hospital at Manipal.

He breathed his last on Monday without responding to treatments. A case about the incident was registered in Kota police station.
