Mangaluru: Running of sex racket in city - four arrested

Mangaluru, Feb 7: Police personnel of city crime branch, who raided a house located within the limits of Bajpe gram panchayat on the allegation of a brothel being run there, arrested four men. On this occasion, four women were rescued.

The arrested men have been identified as Shivanand (45) from Udupi Kutyaru, Niranjan R Kotian (42) from Panjimogaru Manjottu, M B Ismail (35) from Munnur Kuttarpadavu, and Kadavalappu Muhammed Abbusaleem (42), a resident of Meenja.

Another person, identified as Munna, escaped from the police during the raid.
