Media Release

Mangaluru, Feb 8: Fr Vijay Machado, the director of Mangala Jyothi, Bajjodi offered the Holy Mass and preached a meaningful homily on the importance of sharing the resources with the needy on the second day of the feast of Relic of Saint Anthony.

He said, “All that we own, if we think deep and see, is not all ours but is given by God. God has blessed us with plenty so that we have to share what we have with those who have less or nothing. By sharing our resources we can solve the problem of hunger, poverty and such other social evils. Further he explained how some of the charity works run because of the generous donations given by large hearted people. God does not forget those who donate. He will bless them in innumerable fold.”

Fr Francis D’Souza, the administrator of the Institutes, conducted the novena. Fr Onil D’Souza thanked the choir members from Infant Mary’s Church Bajjodi for helping the devotees to pray well during the Holy Mass and devotion.
