Moodbidri, Feb 8: Christian community here welcomed and celebrated providing of Rs 200 crore grant for the progress of Karnataka state Christian community by starting Christian Development Corporation.
Catholic community members said that Vidhan Parishat member, parliamentary secretary Ivan D’Souza’s unceasing efforts made the dream of Christian Development Corporation a reality.
The community members celebrated in Moodbidri bus stand by fireworks. Catholic leaders Alwyn Menezes, Wilfred Mendonca, Pravin Lobo, Arun Pereira, Jerald Lobo, Melwyn D’ Costa, Ronald Serrao, Rajesh D’ Costa, Lazarus D’ Costa, Alwyn Walter D’ Souza, Harry Rego, Paul D’ Souza, Herman D’ Silva, Anish D’ Souza, Francis Siddakatte and Richard Sampige were present.
