Mangaluru: Feast of Relic of Saint Anthony – Day 6 of novena concludes

Mangaluru, Feb 12: Fr Ravi Rudolf D’Sa, director of Fr Muller Hospital offered the Holy Mass on the sixth day of the novena in preparation for the feast of Relic at Milagres Church at for the intention of leaders.

In his sermon, he said, “There are many people who offer their service to the community and to the society free of cost. They sacrifice a lot of their time and energy. But their services go unrecognized. In this background the celebrant called on the people to appreciate such services so that it gives more energy to the leaders to serve the people with more enthusiasm. The prayers of the faithful were offered for the leaders and for the family members of leaders who also lend their support to the leaders in their responsibilities.”



At the end of the Holy Mass all the leaders were invited to come forward near the altar and were prayed for by sprinkling holy water on them. Fr Thrishan D’Souza, assistant director of the institutes, conducted the novena. Fr Onil D’Souza thanked the choir group from Panir Church.

A large number of devotees participated in the devotion.
