Mangalore, Jan 27: The 18th annual celebration of ‘Vajranetra’ magazine will be held at the Town Hall on Thursday January 29 at 5 pm.
A Yakshagana performance and a dance will be held as part of the celebration said Ratnakar Rao, honourary editor, Vajanetra, speaking at a press conference recently.
Sharavu Raghavendra Shastri, will inaugurate the programme and Krishna J Palemar, district in-charge minister, will preside over the function.
A Sadananda Shetty, president, Sridevi Education Trust, will release the special edition of the magazine.
Apart from this, Ravindra Rai, Karnataka Computers Education, Shashikala, artiste, and Bhavani, athlete, will be honoured with the ‘Vajranetra National Prestigious Award’.
Rajan Kumar, editor, Vajranetra, and Annayya Sherigar, former managing director, SCDCC Bank were present on the occasion.
