Chikkamagaluru: Police plan to put bridle on increasing crime

Chikkamagaluru, Feb 12: Mudigere police circle inspector, Jagadeesh, said that steps are being thought of to control number of murders and crimes happening in Charmadi ghat area, as they are witnessing a steady increase.

He said that the police plan to erect two check posts on the ghat section to conduct police verification. He was speaking to media persons after holding discussions with the deputy inspector general, Mangaluru.

He said that once orders from the superiors are received, steps would be taken to strictly screen every vehicle at the proposes check posts and only thereafter allow them to move ahead.
