Mysuru: Mandd Sobhan Kalasambhram held

Mysuru, Feb 13: Konkani Christian Association, here celebrated Mandd Sobhan Kalasambhram convened by Vally Vagga at Konkani Bhavan here on February 10. Members of the association initially sang a prayer song under the leadership of William D’Souza.

Vishwa Konkani Kalarathan Eric Ozario, Konkani Abolen Joyce Ozario and young singers Jason and Joylin Lobo sang old and new Konkani songs and entertained the packed audience.

Artistes of Mandd Sobhan repertory Kalakul presented two skits named ‘Amkan Illen Aika’ and ‘Badlavan’. Nach Sobhan troupe under the leadership of Rahul Pinto presented superb Baila dances.



The programme comprised of Alron Rodrigues on the keyboard and Vikas Lasrado for the background music. Famous drama writer and director Arun Raj Rodrigues compered the programme.

Papua New Guinea cardinal Dr John Ribat, Virajpet based new bishop Dr Bishop Rosario Menezes and Vishwa Konkani Kalarathan Eric Ozario were felicitated by Konkani Christian Sangh, Mysuru in the beginning of the programme.
