Udupi, Feb 14: BJP MLC, Ravikumar, has made breach of privilege complaint in the state legislative council. He has claimed in the complaint that Manipal police station inspector has given written statement containing false information relating to him.

"On the issue of not raising the topic of question paper leakage racket operating in Manipal Printing Press where these question papers get printed, Manipal police station inspector had committed breach of privilege. In a notice served on Madhukar Shenoy, head of Manipal Technology Limited Unit - 1, he said that I had urged the government to conduct detailed investigation about question papers printed at the said press during the last five years. He gave wrong information even lhough this issue was never raised here. By using my name without authorization, he has dented my integrity and reputation. He also has hurt the honour of the house. I request you to conduct probe into this issue," he said in the complaint.
