Udupi, Feb 15: “Miscreants have reportedly hurled stones on train running between Barkur and Senapur. A few windows and glasses of the train are broken, and passengers and staff suffered injuries in the incidents.

Throwing stones on running trains is a punishable offence. Stringent action will be taken against those who are responsible for it,” said Konkan railway RPF inspector.

He has requested to cooperate with the department of railways for smooth traffic and safety of passengers.
