Sullia: Plot to Destroy Culture - Alleges Jagadish Karant

Sullia, Feb 13: The people enamoured by western culture have planned to destroy Hindu culture and to ultimately take India in their control, said Jagadish Karant, state convener, Hindu Jagaran Vedike, speaking at the Hindu Jana Jagruti conference held near the private bus stand here, on Thursday February 12.

The event was organized by Sullia taluk Hindu Hitarakshana Vedike.

Muslims are free tp exponent their faith and so are the  Christians. But, when Hindu's talk  about Hindutva, why does it get branded as communal, he questioned.

Nalin Kumar Kateel, general secretary, Dakshina Kannada district BJP, Sridhar Hegde, national executive member, ABVP and Gopalkrishna Bhat, president, Auto Drivers Association, addressed the gathering.

Dr Ramaiah Bhat, convener, welcomed the gathering,  Krishnaprasad Madtila, member, Hindu Hitarakshana Vedike, proposed vote of thanks.

A large number of supporters participated in the procession the protestors took out from the main road to the private bus stand, earlier in the day.

    Mr.Jagadish IS there Hindu culture is religion based?If yes,Then Your unfortunately wrong.The human who born in our Hindu land IS authentically becomes flower of Hindu CULTURE,Honestly saying,what you believe , What is your religion is not necessary,What is really maters is change of hearts and minds.In this fast changing big world We have to respect each others culture.There is no western or eastern. Borrow good things from others culture,Leave bad things from our culture.Every human his or her culture grater than others,culture is a HERTZ,Don't mix up Religion with culture,In my opinion you really don't know the really meaning of word CULTURE'

    Everybody should be allowed to practice his/her culture, irrespective of the religion, provided such a practice is peaceful and non-violent. Nobody should think of dominating others and brand some cultures as foreign influx.

    Jagadish karanth Sahebre,All language and religion people are worried about westernisation.fering that our language our religion our culture will vanish.But as on date we have not lost any thing,we educate our children in english medium school that too in convent school, then we send them abroad,then we boast that our child is in US,UK AUSTRALIA, GULF, AFRICA. Can you prove that any culture is not a mixture of others culture? Who has remained Pure Vegetarian? I mean Pure.No Onion,Garlic, Carrot,Radish,cabbage,cauliflower,etc,etc.
