Bantwal, Feb 14: In a rare incident, an aged couple that was ill became one even in death.

Manjakke Shedti (88) from Kolya House in Vittal Kasba village died on the night of Tuesday February 12 in a private hospital in Puttur, after a brief illness. Preparations for the funeral of the woman had been made on Friday morning near her residence in Kolya. At that time, Kanakkur Kittanna Shetty (93) suddenly died due to cardiac arrest.

The couple has left behind four sons and two daughters.
