Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Feb 16: After the severed  head of an unidentified cattle was found deserted in a bus shelter located in Dhoomachadavu near Mijar, Badaga Yedapadav village in the taluk on the morning of February 15, tension prevailed for sometime.

Those who found the skinned head of a cattle, informed the policemen, who took it away and handed over the same to the veterinary doctor for conducting medical tests.

The head of an animal which looked like that of a cow, was covered in a gunny bag and placed in the bus shelter. As it was skinned, it could not be immediately ascertained as to whether it was of a cow or not. The truth will be known only after the receipt of the medical test report from the veterinary doctor.

As the news of the recovery of the head of a cattle spread, workers of various organizations gathered in front of Bajpe police station. They urged the policemen to immediately find out the culprits responsible for the incident, arrest them and initiate action.

After the policemen assured the gathering that they will detect the perpetrators of this mischief, the gathering dispersed. Bajpe sub-inspector of police Raghava Padil has registered a case. It is felt, that miscreants purposefully tossed the head of a cattle the previous night, for the specific purpose of heightening tensions in the area.

Dear mangaloreans n mediapersons ! Pls dont create media hype for silly matters on the news front at international level, its just to bring the bad name to entire region, there are hundreds of other issues to be discussed on current affairs. About the skull of animal which tossed at bus stop please let the authorities to take action, eventhough its not a matter of such importance since the whole globe had adopted redmeat as their daily diet. Result of such news is nothing but to create tension in the area and panic among fellow poor people there.
