Mangalore: Fr Muller Institutions Day on March 13

Mangalore, Mar 11: Fr Muller Charitable Institutions (FMCI) will celebrate Institutions Day and graduation ceremony at Fr Muller stadium in the city on March 13.

Informing this to media here on Tuesday, Fr Muller Medical College (FMMC) Administrator Fr Denis D’Sa said Governor of Punjab, General (Retd) S F Rodrigues would be the chief guest for the celebrations. Mangalore Bishop Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza will preside.

Graduation certificates

Fr D’Sa said a total of 466 students will receive their graduation certificates on the occasion.

They comprise, 113 from Fr Muller College of Nursing (FMCON), 88 from Fr Muller Homeopathic Medical College (FMHMC), 211 from Fr Muller Medical College and 54 from Fr Muller School of Nursing.

He said the School of Nursing would be celebrating its golden jubilee this year, while the medical college is in its decennial year.

 The Fr Muller Charitable institutions have completed 129 years of service. The hospital at present has 1,050 beds, Fr D’Sa said.

Fr Muller Medical College Dean Dr B Sanjeev Rai, FMHMC Principal Dr S K Tiwari and FMCON Principal Sr Jacintha D’Souza were present in the press meet.
