Mangalore: Kaivalya Swamiji to Participate in ‘Mriga Bete' of Ullal Temple

Mangalore, Mar 12: The 'Mriga Bete' ritual of Sri Lakshmi Narayana Temple of Ullal will be held on Thursday March 12.

The above ritual will be held as part of the annual car festival being held here from Tuesday March 10 onwards.

Sri Shivananada Saraswati Swamiji, head of Shri Kaivalya Math will arrive at the temple at 6 pm and will participate in the ‘Mriga Bete’ programme. The Swamji's 'Digvijaya Utsav' or grand procession will also be held on the same night in Ullal.

The Swamiji will offer various kinds of ritualistic bath services to the temple deity like 'Shatakalashabhisheka', 'Gangabhisheka', 'Kanakabhisheka' and 'Shiyalabhisheka'. These will be followed by the 'Ratharohana' (ascension of the chariot by the deity) in the evening, on Friday March 13.

He will also actively participate in the 'Avabratotsav' to be held on Saturday March 14 and the 'Laghurudra Nahakara' oblation to be held on Sunday March 15, stated a release.
