Mangalore: Murder Attempt Accused Secure Bail

Mangalore, Mar 12: The five people, accused of forcibly entering the home of Abdul Hamid and Shariff and attempting to kill him with sharp weapons, were granted bail by the sessions court here, on Wednesday March 11.

Abdul Hamid, an interior decorator and owner of the shop, 'No Fear', resides along with another man named Shariff, in a rented house in Balmatta Pais Compound. Allegedly, they had invited two girls from Laxmi Memorial College to their home two days back. When the four were in the house, a gang of miscreants had entered there and escaped after injuring Abdul Hamid and Shariff with sharp weapons.

When the Kadri policemen rushed to the home after being informed of the matter, they had recovered some incriminating photographs. The policemen had later arrested the five accused, Suresh, Nagendra, Omkar Shetty, Gopal Suvarna and Chintan Shaw and produced them in the court.
