Daijiworld Media Network - Bantwal (SP)

Bantwal, Mar 14: Reportedly, three miscreants assaulted Deepak Prabhu (24), a newspaper distributor who was as usual moving on his bicycle distributing newspapers in the morning of Friday March 13 near Bastipadpu here, and critically injured him. After attacking Prabhu with iron rods, they fled from the spot.

Prabhu was badly injured in his head and legs. He has been admitted to the local government hospital. As Prabhu, a simple man, was not associated with any organizations, his family could not guess reasons for this assault. Bantwal town police have registered a case.
